With a vast experience in energy exploration, Rukun Raharja has been recognized as the first and the largest private gas trading company in the nation. Coupled with strong capital structure and reliable facilities, Rukun Raharja has gained the full trust from the government to expand its businesses into the gas trading sector. The Company complies with the applicable laws and regulations related to gas trading, for instance, obtaining a license for Natural Gas Trading through Pipes. This proves Rukun Raharja's commitment in contributing to the effort to provide consistent supply of clean energy. Following strategic cooperations with a number of experienced and professional institutions, both at the national and international levels, Rukun Raharja currently serves two customer segments, which include industry players and retailers.
Established in 2007, PRA operates as a sub-holding company of Rukun Raharja that is engaged in the investment, trading, and transportation of gas. Presently, PRA has 3 business units engaging in Gas Trading.

Established in 2016, PT Prima Energi Raharja (PER) is engaged in gas trading and transportation. PER is now one of the leading companies in technology and science development of the local gas industry, including by promoting LNG as a preferred method for distribution of gas to locations more than 2,000 km away. Especially supported by modern infrastructure such as the cryogenic tanks and integrated upstream-to-downstream regasification stations, this system is capable of maintaining the pressure and temperature of methane and ethane, hence keeping the gas in its best condition.

Established in 1998, PT Energasindo Heksa Karya (EHK) is engaged in gas trading and transportation sector. To further develop its business, Tokyo Gas, the largest gas company in Japan, has taken ownership of 33% of EHK shares. EHK currently engages in distribution of gas through a fully integrated network in Jambi, West Java and Banten, following the government regulations on gas transmission and on Distribution Network Area (WJD) and on Specific Trading Area (WNT). As a pioneering private company in gas trading, EHK always complies with operational regulations as shown in the company’s certification of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
EHK gas trading volume increases every year with total pipeline coverage now reaching 110 km, supplying more than 100 MMSCFD of natural gas to businesses across different industrial sectors and to power plants. Gas from EHK is utilized as an energy source for activities in power plants or in manufacturing (boilers, ovens, raw material processing, heating and so on)
