Supporting the Empowerment of Women's MSMEs, RAJA launches EmpowerHER
Jakarta, 31 October 2023 – Leading Oil and Gas Company, PT Rukun Raharja, Tbk (IDX: RAJA) with a strong commitment to women's empowerment and achieving Sustainable Development Goals, the Company launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, namely EmpowerHer at the Santika Premiere Hotel Slipi, West Jakarta. This program aims to empower women and support economic growth through special training for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) managed by women.
The company is committed to playing an active role in advancing society and the environment, one of which is the company's support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned by women. Women's MSMEs have an important role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) and improving the economy as a whole. By launching this training program, we hope to help them overcome the various challenges they face in running their business, as well as provide opportunities to develop and become strong partners for our company.
EmpowerHer is part of the company's long-term commitment to supporting sustainable development, including improving the economy of surrounding communities. By providing training and mentoring to female MSMEs, the Company hopes to create sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships. This program will cover various aspects of business, including management, digital marketing, finance, and sustainability. The Company believes that through providing this training, women will have greater opportunities to develop their businesses, increase income, and overall contribute to local economic development.
The first training program has been implemented with a total of 100 female MSME participants from various business fields. This program will be implemented periodically in several cities in the Company's operational areas and will open up opportunities for many women to develop their business potential. Furthermore, in 2024 the Company is expected to have permanent MSME partners who will receive full support from the Company.
